high school picture

Out here in our neck of the woods, seniors in high school like to have their year book picture taken outside, often posing against a tree. So when I saw this young buck in velvet standing under a tree, I just had to take a snap.
This happens to be right down the street from our house. A group of four bucks were hanging out, Laney barked at them, three went one way and this one went the other. Once he figured out he was separated from the group he froze, until we passed by, and then he rejoined his friends. It really is like high school out there!
