Day 26 - All quiet on the Western Front

Blip shows the west side which is also the "weather" side. 

Yesterday the smallest on was fitted in the WC and sadly have determined it is wrongly fitted out and will be replaced soon. Today the builder alone and fitted two further new windows.

As a reward for his work this week, "knocking-off" beer for him this afternoon was a very strong special Paulaner Salvator Doppelbock (7.9% alc).

In response, son J in the UK sent a photo of his local Tesco supermarket being filled with his normally favourite Franziskaner Wheatbeer, BUT it was all the alcohol-free stuff. Poor fellow.

The boards standing vertically on the left are just some of those from the old roof which have been de-nailed and are in good enough condition to perhaps be used for cladding or re-cladding some of our outbuildings.
