carpetbiter1 and i have decided that her plain wooden dollshouse needs a bit of livening up. so silver and gold lame paper is the plan. i held my tongue, desperate for her to choose a tasteful oversized floral instead but reckon this will sing.

she was another eclectic riot of stripes and checks today - pink stripe socks, multi stripe trousers, grey/pink check shirt over pink and orange check shirt. i wanted to take a photo and will have to work out a way of doing it that she doesnt object to.

totally sociable day. swam to try out the aussie pool toys. boys went to the pub to watch the football. girls went to buy the lame wallpaper and eat sandwiches in the sunny park with c and her 4. ended the day with carpetbiter1 at a party, me drinking tea and c and the 4 while the older two tried to climb the tree and carpetbiter2 leading a ptiched battle in the garden with 4 other boys.

wonder how the anti-noise neighbours are feeling now....
