A slice of Lesley's life

Fake News

These flowers are not this colour.

But the only real photo I took today was illicit so this is a distraction.

Terrible sleepless night with the very ill-timed arrival of a fever and sore throat. And early start to get J back over to Whitechapel for his final tests. A splendid combination of Day Nurse and coffee seemed to do the trick.

Compared to everything else this quick 90minute test was such a breeze J even did some maths homework during it.

Then took him to meet Peri for some more bouldering and I headed back west for a super speedy power nap and lunch before heading to school for the first big costume sorting session. Interesting how perspectives differ - apparently they have never been so far ahead; this was not how I felt but did make me feel better.

And now my cold is raging like a good 'un so it's Night Nurse and an early night for me.

The illicit photo was a screen shot of what I think are J's results from Wednesday when (in proper movie style fashion) I was left alone in a room with a computer screen on. So we obviously haven't been given them officially yet, and they may need some interpreting, but we are cautiously optimistic. And unless there is a very good reason we will continue to stick with observations of his progress and have no further plans to do these tests again. The data is interesting but that is not a good enough reason given what it costs J to do the tests. All we need now is for the docs to agree he can stop the last of his medication.

Obviously you should eat that last paragraph now you have read it and go back to admiring how amazingly vibrant the flowers are.
