Weatherworn
TJ and I caught the bus this morning to Grassington and walked the high level Dales Way route to Kettlewell for lunch and then on to Starbotton from where we caught the bus back home. We were out for 9 hours in total and that time seemed to fly by. The familiar pattern of sunshine and showers continued much as it has done all summer. When the sun was out it was quite warm, but when the wind got up and the showers passed by it was distinctly chilly. It was a day of much dressing and undressing! It was also a pretty good day for photography. The cloudscapes were fantastic.
Once home, after a quick freshen up, we were out again to meet Spartan at the Cow and Calf. Another couple of hours passed by in a flash! This is a man overflowing with great stories. Thanks for making the effort to come out at short notice to introduce yourself to TJ.
Finally, youngest son Roam has arrived safely in Peru and, as promised, he is beginning to blip his big adventure. He has posted a wonderful and poignant first blip here. I'd love you to visit his journal.
Trying to keep this short as we have a big day tomorrow and a good night's sleep is in order! Sorry to be yet again very poor at reciprocating your lovely comments.
