A shady nook

Walking up the lane to church this morning, this little corner caught my eye.

I like it because of several factors - thinking particularly of the intricate work of the dry-stane dyke builder in the shadow, contrasted with the free hand of nature caught in the sun.

Five minutes later there was thick cloud and a freezing wind - which has persisted.
