Here's looking at you!
I may look as if I'm snoozing, but I'm watching every move you make: the cygnet turning into a swan on Blackford Pond.
Not much doing again on the pond - the new swan pair, this cygnet, a few tufties, a couple of moorhens (not a pair), a few black-headed gulls, a mother and offspring mallard, a couple of drake mallards. I was trying to work out if anything was happening in the moorhen nest and I think a bird was still sitting, but it must be getting beyond any realistic incubation period - I think I first saw a bird sitting in mid May.
