Mr Fox
Today's the day .......................... to be at home
After yesterday's exotic wildlife, we had a bit of our own in the garden here today.
Mind you, there's always quite a lot of creatures who look on this garden as their own - deer, squirrels, rabbits, and a family of badgers. Apparently, this fox is a frequent visitor and is very much at home here. He wasn't at all bothered by me taking this picture as he lay on the grass having a bit of a sunbathe. That was just before he went into the fruit cage and helped himself to a few strawberries.
The day before, I was in the garden with Ron when there was a rustle in the bushes and out bounded a large dog. It looked a bit like a greyhound but it had a collar, so it must have belonged to someone. It rushed off and re-appeared on the other side. We couldn't believe how fast it was travelling - until we realised that there were actually two of them!
You just never know what you're going to see next in this garden .................
