Whitton Grange

To Whitton Grange, near Rothbury, this afternoon - MrM was playing there with the jazz band at a 'thank you' garden party for the staff of Hospice Care Northumberland. The sun shone (though it was much more chilly than forecast thanks to the wind), there was cake and, best of all, a chance to look round the gardens. They are fabulous!

Afterwards, MrM and I did a short walk with Louie up to the hill fort at Lordenshaws. Great views in all directions. Home for a meal, then out to the Common for another walk with Louie before slumping in front of the TV with a nice cool cider.

A relatively relaxing weekend but, oh dear, nothing at all from the 'to do' list achieved. And the list is growing rapidly...
