London Town

Today I was up in London for an Alzheimers Society training day.  This photo was taken outside their offices in Crutched Friars.  I quite liked the mixture of old and new and colours and textures.  I did wonder about the name Crutched Friars, but apparently the monks who originally inhabited the site didn't hobble around on crutches, they were from the order of the Holy Cross.  The extra is a view of the London Eye.  I haven't been on it: no head for heights.
