An Artist and a Bargain
I wandered into town this afternoon and spent a happy hour visiting our local charity shops...this is one of my favourite ways to while away some time, you just never know what you mind find (although in my case it's usually yet another scarf...I have had to buy a chest of drawers to keep them all in! But I digress...I found a bargain in the last shop, it is an all cotton lined 'Seasalt' skirt, and the pattern and colours look rather retro and immediately reminded me of the Paul Nash exhibition visited earlier in the year in Norwich. In fact it reminded me so much that I just had to dig the catalogue out and compare the two...the painting on the brochure and the skirt are remarkably similar.
