Vintage

I'm in Devon this week staying with the parents as I have a friend's wedding at the weekend in the county. Whilst plodding around the local town we came across this cool vintage shop which I hadn't been in before. I almost felt bad me being there rather than some of my friends who I know would have adored it even more than I did.

Today is also apparently my last 'full membership' trial of blip. I'm not sure what this means but hoping it won't cut my blipping in it's tracks!

Thankful today for:
- healthy parents. Despite being in their 70s as they had my brother & I later in life, they only have the odd creaky knee or eye floaters. Number of friends of mine have parents going through hospital appointments and procedures at the moment. I've gone down with a cold whilst being here & my mum is looking after me as though I was 10!
- Hope: ok a big word but just aware today that even when your circumstances may remain the same, something to aim for or look forward to, even the potential of, gives such life
- God's patience: I feel like I've been neglecting time with Him lately yet He is so faithful. Why does He bother with me when I'm sometimes so ungrateful? His Grace blows me away
