A roof!

It has taken all day to brighten and you can see there are still plenty of clouds.
We had plans but shelved them partly because of the weather and also because I'm pretty tired after the last few days shenanigans! A bit of marking still to do as well so we decided to go to IKEA as there is no Pilates class today and my friend who comes on Wednesday is away in Berlin.

We just wanted a receptacle for recycling materials that accrue in the kitchen. We have a basket for paper goods but the increase in what can be recycled in terms of plastic has grown and there is too much now for the little dish I put milk bottle tops in!

We got want we wanted, a smaller version of the bins my daughter has in her kitchen for recycling and it will fit under the table by the kitchen door.

Whe we got back the roof has started to appear on the extension next door. The couple who bought the house in November said they hoped to be in in June. Going to be a while yet.
