Butterfly House

I managed to get out during my extended lunch break today and visited the Butterfly House in Victoria Park in my hometown of Widnes. Who knew we had a butterfly house??
Anyway, it was a nice distraction from today's workload, even if there weren't as many butterflies as I was expecting.
I think this one is a Doris Longwing....not native to the UK, but quite pretty I thought.

Well, this afternoon was rounded off with the end of the Johanna Konta match, the end of stage 5 in the Tour De France and now Andy Murray is playing well on centre court. A good afternoon of sport me thinks!!

Not much chance for an outing tomorrow, so it might be back to garden birds again - will have to wait and see :)
