Out For A Ride

Took the bike out today which was fun. Although, riding a motorcycle in July in South Carolina is like riding inside a baking oven.

At one point in the late afternoon, I got sprinkled on for about 15 seconds from some rain shower somewhere. I looked around and saw nothing but open sun everywhere above me. So that rain must have been blown in from quite a distance away.

Mrs. ATB snapped this blip with her phone as she was today's passenger.

This was taken in a different area of the inlet from where I usually post pics, about 2 miles south of The Marshwalk. It's an area mostly only the locals know about, and we saw quite a bit of wildlife in terms of wading birds out fishing among the oyster beds during low tide.

Back inside now. Air conditioning, what a great invention!
