Julia

Since it was pouring rain, I thought it was a perfect afternoon to go to the butterfly house.  It is always about 10 degrees warmer in the house and with the 100% humidity, I was like a wet dish rag when I finished.  The butterflies spent more time on the leaves than on the flowers as they do in the morning….not sure why?  Afternoon siesta?  Anyway, there were still a few of them hitting the flowers, so I managed to get some flower shots.  I had several shots that I liked but finally decided on this one because I know the name of this butterfly:  a Julia Longwing.
