Lotus Festival

The lotuses are in bloom at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, an event WRPerry and I have been waiting for.  Checking our schedules and the weather, we opted for this morning and were on the road at 6:30 so we could be there at opening time.  It couldn't have been better with slightly overcast skies providing diffuse sunlight and reasonable temperatures.  The breeze was heavenly.  Even at 7:00 am there were plenty of other photographers with the same idea, and as the morning wore on, it became quite busy. 

I have loaded a few more here on FLICKR, since I am rapidly using up my extras so I am now trying to budget them.
