Weather Beaten

This is a tree….NOT “The Tree” another tree…Right? OH and it's The Tree that's weather beaten  NOT the dog on the right...See me...Good.
“The Tree” is without doubt suffering from over exposure and and probably needs a chat to a friendly tree physiologist from the Bark institute. Oh thats a coincidence…Bark …well I never.
The Boss abandoned me this morning and went to a U3A lecture on religion.
U3A has a very strong following here in Wanaka probably due to the very diverse makeup of our town and have had to close it’s membership as there is not a large enough venue available here. Christian religion is losing support in Western countries and some really interesting research has gone into that plus values research in this country. (What folk think is important). In coming weeks we are going to get talks on all the major religions and how they got started and what keeps them going. 

Religion is a human condition that has been going for hundreds of thousands of years.

I didn’t have to wait that long for a walk thank goodness.
