Uplight and uplifting

This evening I was in Glasgow for the annual Higher Education Awards. West Lothian College's partnership with us for training volunteers across Scotland had been recognised by WLC being nominated along with 3 others in the category, each of them universities.

The nomination in itself was pleasing. Sadly, one of the others secured the award. So a bit deflated by then end of the evening, though inspired by lots of the work and activities under way in the secdor.
