Shady sheep
After a very busy weekend I found it hard to get up this morning, but at least there was no need to get Ben to the college bus for 7.30am! After dropping Alex at work, I went on to do a local site visit. During my investigation I came across this flock of sheep, sheltering under a shady oak tree. They're a conservation grazing flock, helping to maintain a local grassland.
In the evening Alex, Lizzy, Pete and I went for another walk round Castor Hanglands - one of the first evening walks we seem to have managed this summer. Hopefully there'll be time for a few more before the evenings start to draw in too much
