European Adventure Day 3: Lauterbrunnen

The local band!

A long journey today by train from Cologne to Switzerland. There was a delay of almost an hour and then the train terminated at Basel. Managed to get the connection to Interlaken then on to Lauterbrunnen.

The scenery is quite overwhelming - don't think we've ever seen such high mountains!

Weather is very warm with thunderstorms forecast for tomorrow. Some very chummy folk at the hostel where we have a balcony - how lovely is that?
