European Adventure Day 2: Cologne

After a buffet breakfast we headed for the Cathedral which is enormous! Walked along the Rhine, stopping for ice lollies and coffee in the lovely sunshine. Headed back in the afternoon to the hostel for a rest before venturing out and getting caught in the rain, thunder and lightning. A spot of shopping/window gazing/people watching. Going out for tea soon.

A fairly early start tomorrow as we catch the train to Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland.
