Artemisia

The flowers on this artemisia are insignificant, but it has some of the best silvery foliage there is, so is well worth its place in the border. Usually we prune out the flower stems before they open, but these have escaped my attention and now that they're out I think I'll leave them to do their thing. Artemisia tolerates drought very well, and loves the heat, so I think it'll be one of the long-term survivors if the trend is towards hotter and drier summers.
