Sun Worshipper

Not so much of the sun here today, well not until late afternoon so we've stayed at home. Visited the neighbours for our annual catch up, they are residents here and their eldest son has just started a job with the RNLI as a fully fledged Lifeguard on the 'Poldark' beach. Youngest daughter proudly showed me her favourite Birthday present .......  a Hamster called Poppy who drives her own pink car (in a Hamster ball) - I've never been too sure about these hamster balls??

Mr T declined the invitation of a walk with me in the late afternoon so I set off on my own and enjoyed over 10,000 steps on familiar footpaths by familiar streams,  and then the long uphill pull back into the village followed by a lovely long downhill stroll back home.

Now I'm recovering (with a glass of wine) and enjoying yet more Wimbledon.
