Midsommer

In Denmark midsummer is celebrated on St John's Day on 23 June. Danes build large bonfires and have speeches and singing from 10pm. We had spotted bonfires being built and headed out st 10pm to see if we could find one. Our closest one wasn't lit but we visited another one just along the beach. D was v excited to stay up late. This sign is in the beach - basically it says that you mustn't dump garden rubbish on the beach except in the run up to midsommer celebrations.
