Layered Loveliness

Having a relaxed day off from the land and all it entails at the moment. Went out walking for about five hours, talking and remembering why we love this place. It got hotter and hotter, I went in for a swim, but still pretty overheated by the time we got back, and the cold beer at Sr Zé's was more than welcome, as was the relaxed chat with him and D Nazaré. They told us at Mike's party the other night, "In us, you have two friends, count on us for whatever you need." He wouldn't let us pay for the beer and tremoços (pickled lupin beans) today. 

And the water really was this blue. But the Lake is so low... and no chance of rain for a few months yet.
