Hacking Holes

Mike has been working very hard in the heat today, first digging holes for three large poles, and then hacking more holes into the wall, to hold poles to join those poles - to make a shady area in front of the house. Glad I'd not got round to painting the outside yet.

I walked into town to buy bread - too hot to have oven on now. Long listen to guy in the tourist post, he's so frustrated with the lack of effort by the town council. Wondering if and how I could help...

Forgot to say, we saw a wild boar coming back last night, Mike was well pleased.
