Think green

I did not even have to leave the house for this blip. Instead, it came to me :)

Meet John, who works for Waste Management, the local company contracted by the City of Seattle to pick up garbage, recycling, and yard waste. This is the first time I have met John, and he is one of the folks that picks up yard waste - lawn clippings, shrub trimmings, and even certain food scraps.

John was more than happy to have his picture taken, and was even nice enough to ask me if I would like a still shot or an action shot. I selected the still shot, so John posed in the cab of his truck while I snapped a couple of quick pictures. Notice that the truck has dual driving controls.
