Normandy Road Trip Day No 2!!

Saint Malo, Dinan and Fougères, Brittany

The walled city of Saint Malo for breakfast, the cobbled medieval streets of Dinan for inter-village jousting on the river and an alfresco lunch of galettes and cider in the sun, then on to Fougères and it's magnificent feudal castle for aperitifs under the castle walls before heading to the town's campsite for our first night under the stars...

And it nearly was under the stars! M discovered he'd somehow managed to leave the tent's inner sleeping compartment at home, and then I discovered I'd left the evening meal I'd prepared at home in the freezer! But life's all about improvisation so we'll manage, as long as it doesn't rain!! And so the adventure continues into Normandy...
