what we did today...

This two spent a happy 3 hours playing and watching trains at this most fantastic model railway museum. They had over 100 trains set up on an electronic computer programme. Some trains could be controlled by the boys and some were on an automatic timetable. It was spread over 3 rooms - one of which was a huge multi layered holding bay for the trains not currently running around the huge display.
My tolerance of model trains isn't quite as high as A and the boys so after a couple of hours I headed for a browse around some local shops.
We had to drag the boys away - c wanted to continue with the model trains while D was loving constructing crazy Lego trains of the remote control Lego train set - after all it was in Denmark :-D
