Winter Landscape
On sunny days at this time of year, (the middle of winter), the Torlesse mountains are usually in silhouette because the sun is mainly behind them. When there are clouds above them the light is reflected down so that some detail is seen. There wasn’t much snow up there today, but the forecast is for a southerly storm, with snow down to low levels. Tomorrow they could look quite different.
