No roses around the door but.......

The lavender is doing exactly what I wanted it to do, it is blurring the dead straight lines of the front path and it smells wonderful. An added bonus is the butterflies and bees these flowers attract, the buzzing can be rather loud when the suns out. A down side is the affect it has on any visitors wearing shorts, the close proximity of naked flesh and vocal bees does not seem to produce positive thoughts. It is not until after they have walked the length of the path that they realised the real problem they had, very wet legs after all the recent rain.
