Flighty Bee

With the best will in the world doing the accounts, Vat quarter, drizzle, 5 loads of washing etc and both kids at home this was never going to be a blipping sort of day. 

With the best will in the world, a bee in flight at a distance of about ten feet, through glass with a 500mm lens was never going to be macro standard and certainly not a set up shot. The magpie in the same sequence just looked drowned and bored. So here you have a lovely flighty bumble bee heading towards the thistle heads in the rain - unlike myself who was only drowning in tea at my desk for a good part of the day.
