Composition.

Hopefully this view will become a wonderful painting. The first day of a painting class was on composition. Unsurprisingly, the same priciples are used as in photography but it is a little more complicated. Several sketches were made in the field then we went back to the atelier to put paint on canvas. This year i have tried to keep an open mind and go with the flow. Usually I end up doing my own thing, which is fine, but doesn't allow for growth or progress. We are are small group, only 4 students, so we get plenty of attention. Looking forward to the next 2 days.
