Some white and some green
16C with blue sky, some cloud, and a cool breeze. A very nice day for being out and about.
I forgot to mention yesterday that we saw Eilish McColgan, one of our Olympians, running along the cycle path beside the shore road!
Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. We walked about in the field with the bridle path, right across to the far side, in search of more bale related blip inspiration. Nothing particularly interesting resulted.
There was a rope tied around the big metal 'thing' (technical term) that secures the gate to the small field where the sheep I blipped yesterday are. I hesitated for a moment then untied it, went through with Maeve, and retied it. The sheep were up at one end of their field and none of them objected.
Over the level crossing and down to the beach. Tide out. A nice wide area of hard damp sand for Maeve to enjoy walking along until we got to the Fishermen's huts. Some Sea Glass collected along the way and blipped before we wandered up from the beach to the huts. One man was mowing the grass in the huts area and another was working around in and out of his hut.
We went back down onto the beach and right by the creel rack I found a little piece of pottery with blue colour on it. I took a few shots of the creel rack against the blue sky before wandering along the beach and through the dunes there to the little car park. Very quiet on the streets on the rest of the walk.
Later I removed the leaves from the three tomato plants I have in a big growbag in the greenhouse to encourage ripening. My bush tomato plants have lots of ripe tomatoes but the cordon ones are still green.
