Rabbit-proofing

After a busy afternoon in my father's vegetable garden Mr hazelh, my middle sister, and my brother-in-law declared it rabbit-proofed.

Meanwhile back up at the house I was trying to write, although with little success because there was a lot going on. There were visits from a telephone engineer, a plumber, neighbours, and the home help, and my little sister was on and off the phone with news of family friends in the Dominican Republic. I also spent quite a lot of time talking to my parents.

This evening Mr hazelh and I played Catan with our nephew. Our nephew won the first game (I didn't even buy a third settlement, largely because the number 9 rarely came up), and I won the second (just).
