Day 61 - Winding down
Everyone seems to be relaxing.
Daughter Kate sent a nice photo of herself posed in front of a UK taxpayer funded very big Jaguar and behind that a "shop" front with the words "DUP - Rt Hon Arlene Foster MLA, Constituency Office". Kate didn't say whether she had crossed over the border to demonstrate, petition, plead, beg, throw eggs from her chickens, or tomatoes from her greenhouse or simply to do some sightseeing or shopping in the sadly notorious Enniskillen.
Jonathan and Laura sent pictures from Worthing of their Greek BBQ preparations and food, with his mornings work on the hedge in the background. Beautiful weather there too.
Which reminded me much too late that Jonathan's favourite beer was on 30% discount this week in the supermarket. At 7:30pm when I got there, the space where the pallets are normally stacked ceiling high was as one might expect a large yawning hole.
So consoled myself with dogs and a late evening walk around the lakes. The swimmers in the photo are the swans. The humans had cleared off by then.
