Mam's Veggies

The sun has been out for most of the day again, with the odd cloud passing.   Less wind and much warmer :)

After my couple of days off work, it was back to the museum today.  I've been working on the desk all day, and a steady number of visitors.  There's been two cruise liners in Lerwick today.   Been for a walk around Scalloway after tea, and plenty of folk to chat with.  Popped down to mam's tonight for a walk, and also sister Laura and Elise were down too.  A quiet night in tonight. 

Went for a look in mam's yard to see how her veggies are coming on, and they are doing really good.  This dry a d warm spell has fairly boosted them.  She's got tatties, peas, onions, beetroot, parsnips, rocket, lettuce, carrots, beeps and yummy strawberries.  I'll hopefully get to sample some later in the summer.  Taken at Aith, Cunningsburgh.
