Tuning in.

Another day with nothing yet to show for it but hopefully we're some considerable way to solving a problem that has been perplexing me for a couple of days. I can see now what happened last time we updated some data, or, more accurately, what didn't happen...

Just to work out why. Then I can solve the original problem.

Spent all evening with Jamie trying to see if we have an upgrade path for the main pc to improve performance at least fourfold without resorting to a motherboard and CPU change. We can get a doubling of processing power and speed but only at the same cost of a complete change. Going that far it might as well be a full system build and get a sixfold increase - enough to keep Jonathan happy for gaming and also for me to do some serious image work. Needs a couple more days thought.

Meanwhile, this little birdie is sat waiting for something decent to come in from the transmitter at Sutton Coldfield. I fear it's still there!
