Gouffre de Poudrey
I drove to the supermarket in town to buy some bread for breakfast. It was 11am by th time Penny and Lily got up (they later confessed that they'd not gone to sleep until 3am). I'd booked the canoe for midday so we walked down to the river to pick up our buoyancy aids and paddles. It wasn't easy to paddle the canoe down the river and it didn't take long for it to start raining either. We went down the rapids and managed to stay on the boat. By the time we got back to the caravan it had started to rain quite heavily so we decided to drive to a cave called 'Gouffre de Poudrey' which was about an hour's drive away. We had to walk down quite deep into the cave and it was pretty cold down there. When we got out, the sun was shining. We stopped at the supermarket on the way home and decided to buy some stuff for a BBQ. Penny made the burgers and I lit the BBQ. It started to rain as soon as Penny put the burgers on the BBQ. It then rained much heavier so we brought the BBQ into the entrance of the caravan but it filled with smoke and the alarm went off. Penny decided to transfer the burgers onto the frying pan. We tried to sit outside under the parasol to eat but the rain was too heavy and we were getting wet so we ate inside.
