European Adventure Day 10: Treviso

Lots of thunder and lightning overnight and very heavy rain in the morning so we didn't set off for Treviso until lunchtime. Only took 9 minutes on the fast train from Mogliano Veneto. Bought the tickets and stamped them in plenty of time today.

Treviso is lovely - a big town, but lots of green spaces and archways everywhere. A real mixture of old and new architecture. Small canals and water wheels too. We walked along the ramparts in the sun, stopping off for refreshments when it got too hot.

We returned by train and headed to the cake shop - the lady is trying to educate me in the Italian names of different pastries - today it was a delicious lemon one and a cream horn.
