Back to Dawyck

It is a sign of how busy the last wee while has been that I haven't been to Dawyck Botanical Gardens for some time - I have missed the daffodils and the bluebells and the rhodies and the azaleas.  It was good to have the opportunity today to meet up there with other retired gentlemen for a cup of coffee and a blether.
We also walk around the place though the light was flat and the rain threatened.  At this time of year it is a place of textures and shapes and greens and my photography isn't up to it.  There was the odd reminder of what has been and suggestions of what is to come.  At the moment, it has paused.  Pausing from time to time seems good to me.
