El Questro

What an oasis this place is! We booked in for a 7 am horse ride this morning. It was so peaceful and beautiful, sitting atop a gentle horse, Rob Roy, for two hours.

Unfortunately, Little Miss had a spill off her horse, who was spooked just before the end of the ride.

Fortunately, she is made of tough stuff and didn't make a fuss, rather clambering aboard for the last couple of hundred metres. The people running the show felt so badly for her that they gave her a free half hour kids' lesson and let her wash down Dodger (the horse) and put him in the paddock. She was over the moon, and totally addicted!

Then we walked (or rock hopped) to El Questro Gorge, which was stunning. A trip to the sunset lookout finished a wonderful day.

Pizza and music at the bar and in bed by 9 pm.
