Winter Rose

This variety and a soft pink one are the only flowers in my winter garden.  They are hard to photograph as they hang their heads, in the end I lay it on some baking paper on the bench and asked it to behave.....I think it did !!

Fabulous winters day - frost this morning, but not too hard and sunshine all day, we lapped it up.

I had a "moment" this morning and tackled the pantry, biffed out empty jars and endless plastic containers.  I'm convinced the top shelf had not seen a warm soapy cloth since we moved in, oops !!

Grateful thanks for the lovely comments, stars and many hearts for my Tekapo blip yesterday and those that looked in on my Flickr set too.

We are immersed in rugby this afternoon and this evening - three games, with the most important kicking off shortly, our Crusaders against the Hurricanes.
