Happy?!

Beverage service on board the airplane and altho' everything available has its price up in the air nowadays ~ the airhostess services is as polite and generous as in old times and even with a humorous wink as to pardon for the poor foods and extra costs.

The early morning light was so pleasing and our flight over Europe above gorgeous cumulus clouds was swift. Together with the other passengers the plane was filled for 2/3 what gave our flight a relaxed touch. When arrived at Amsterdam airport we walked by big crowds of passengers awaiting their take offs and the ladies I spoke in the cue for the toilets told me they were pleased this cue wasn't another long one.... they'd ended hours of cueing in patience and were happy their take off was about to take place.
We got home alright about midday ~ do need to download lots of photos still and will add the other backblips in coming days.

Have a good weekend... Oh our time in Italy was wonderful and perfect; fully enjoyed it there and travelled over 1000 kms by rented car,  a lovely Fiat 500.
