Up da Croft Path

It's been a very dreich day.  The cloudy morning soon turned to rain, and it poured most of the day.  It finally stopped after tea, and an hour or so later the sun came out for a bit.  Windy too.

It was a morning for hanging around the caravan and yapping over a cuppa or two.  By lunchtime, I said goodbye to my friends, as they headed home but I'm staying up another night.  Nipped to the Hillswick hotel for a cuppa, and then through to Ollaberry shop for a look.  After tea, I finally got out with Sammy for a walk.  Quiet night in the caravan.

I managed a brisk walk while at the shop and headed down to some croft houses.  There wasn't much inspiration about but I did like these foxgloves growing at James Nicolson's byre and path.  Taken at East Hogaland, Ollaberry.
