Honeybee

Woke up to showers and heavy rain!  It soon cleared, as we headed north and a lovely sunny and warm afternoon.

Up early and time to move on again.  Our plans went out the window with the rain, so we decided to head for Pinjarra for award winning pies and cake, yummy!  We nanaged to get back to Perth just before lunch.  On arrival to auntie Carol's, mam, dad and nieces Eve and Elise had arrived.  We went for a run to Mundaring Weir reservoir and then to the town for a ice cream and a cuppa.  Auntie Carol had tea ready when we got back. Quiet night in and planning the next trip, maybe head off on Sunday.

A lovely walk about the reservoir and ao massive, and the winter flowers were looking great along the reservoir banks.  This honeybee was making the most of the warm sunny afternoon and gathering pollen in this bottlebrush flower (callistemon).  Taken at the Mundaring Weir reservoir.
