Chicago Union Station

It was going to be a blip of the beautiful old station interior, but we never saw it.

Our train from Seattle was running late, and we were told we would miss our connection to Washington, DC. Just as we were pulling into the station the story changed. They'd held the DC train for us, and arranged for our train to pull into the platform alongside it. We only had to walk a few steps to make the transfer.

We'd cancelled our B&B reservation for tomorrow, but were able to reinstate it.

That's enough stress for today!
