Cocklawburn beach

An 'interesting' warning light came on in the car yesterday afternoon and, on consulting the manual this morning, we discovered that it referred to a blocked diesel filter. Aargh, more expense! But, on reading further, it seems that it can be sorted out by driving at a steady 60kph for a length of time. So, we went to Alnwick via Berwick via the A1. Mission accomplished, light out!

The trip meant an opportunity for a short walk on the beach at Cocklawburn with Louie (extra). He finds walking more difficult these days, but seemed to enjoy pottering along on the sand. There are lots of interesting rock formations in the area and this fold has been been exposed by erosion.
