Craziness today...

It was all going so smoothly. I had some chest radiographs to do, an ACTH stimulation test and a couple of ultrasounds... Nice day! I was just heading to lunch when we had an emergency come in with a uterine infection, torsion and inguinal hernia (all in the same dog - poor thing), another puffer fish incident, this time involving a dog rolling in puffer fish (BTW that's fine!) and a very poorly reptile. I'm no reptile vet so that's down to the Dr who has a special interest in those guys, but I did like his X-ray. The surgery on my dog was amazing. It threw up new and interesting twists and turns throughout - a real problem solving exercise, but I'm pleased to say she is doing fine and much happier!
